Boardroom brain.
Farmstead heart.
Born to the Adeniji family of Kuta, raised in Ibadan, Hon. Olumide Adeniji (Olutunu) combines the exposure and excellence of Ibadan with the humility and heart of his ancestral home. Ibadan gave him city exposure and global outlook. Kuta gave him identity, values and responsibility.
Though he grew up in the ancient city of Ibadan where he attended the prestigious Loyola College Ibadan, his connection remains firmly tied to Kuta. That training gave him discipline and academic excellence that propelled a successful banking career. For years he has brought financial discipline, transparency and investment sense to corporate Nigeria.
For over a decade, while building that career in Ibadan, he never disconnected from his root, returning home regularly, investing in people and supporting farmers, traders and youth long before politics. He has quietly supported his people: school fees for indigent children, fertilizer for smallholders, health outreaches for mothers and empowerment for widows. A banker, philanthropist, happily married and grounded in family values.
I grew up in Ibadan, but Kuta raised me. I have not waited for office to serve. Now I seek office to serve more. Idera de for Ayedire.
